After upgrading to a 70mm throttle body, many drivers notice the car feels more sensitive when pressing the gas pedal. Even a small touch on the throttle can make the car respond faster than before. This is actually very common after installing a bigger throttle body.


The reason is simple: a larger throttle body lets more air enter the engine.


Compared with the factory throttle body, a 70mm throttle body has a larger opening. This means the engine can get more airflow with the same pedal input. Because of this, the engine reacts quicker when you press the accelerator.


Many people like this feeling because the car feels more sporty and more responsive. Acceleration feels quicker, especially during low-speed driving or quick throttle input. Some drivers also notice the engine sound becomes more aggressive after the upgrade.
